And that’s a wrap!!

Being this my last post I chose to reflect on the last 8 weeks of blogging that I was assigned to do…

I was nervous to start my blogging because I didn’t want to post anything that someone may disagree with and start an argument about, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the daily posts of the blog because of my focus on other classes, but it wasn’t as hard as I thought. I felt a little rushed because we weren’t given much time to complete this assignment. My original topic was suppose to be about a new student starting a new college (for being a transfer), but that would have died down quickly, so I changed the topic to a more fun and interesting one, reality television. I had alot of fun with this topic, because I could go basically anywhere with it, and used different sources of reality rather than the typical MTV shows. Adding the videos and photos def. made a difference in my blogs, it gave it a bit more life. I would now like to become a part of other blogs on the internet just to see how I like it, and if I don’t I can always stop, but there are blogs for everyone out there, you just have to look.

If I could do it all over again, one thing I would change is that we’d start the blog project one to two weeks earlier. For obvious reasons. That said, I still think that 12 (or so) posts in eight to nine weeks is a reasonable time frame for one not to feel rushed. Perhaps ten posts over ten weeks or some such would represent a more perfect ratio of time to labor. My biggest worry was that the blog project would both seem and be too big, and so I wanted to put the project into a smaller frame, overall. But I appreciate the position that more elbow room to complete the posts should be a factor in any future version of the course.
